The TP-Link Archer AX23 AX1800 is a high-performance dual-band Wi-Fi 6 router designed for modern homes, offices, streaming, gaming, and connected-device environments.
With combined wireless speeds of up to 1,775Mbps—up to 1,201Mbps on 5GHz and 574Mbps on 2.4GHz—the Archer AX23 delivers faster wireless performance, lower latency, and greater network capacity than older Wi-Fi 5 routers.
Its Wi-Fi 6 technology includes OFDMA, 4-stream connectivity, Beamforming, and Airtime Fairness, helping the network handle multiple connected devices more efficiently. Four high-performance external antennas work with Beamforming to improve coverage and direct wireless signal toward connected devices.
For wired connections, the AX23 provides 1 Gigabit WAN port and 4 Gigabit LAN ports, making it suitable for fibre internet, cable modems, ONTs and other Ethernet-based internet services. It also supports Router Mode and Access Point Mode.
Security is another strong point, with WPA3 encryption, SPI firewall, access control, guest networks and parental controls. Compatible EasyMesh devices can also be added to create a larger whole-home Wi-Fi network with seamless roaming.
