Give your existing detectors a second life

You already own good wired detectors. Replacing them costs money, and re-cabling costs more. The Ajax Transmitter connects them to your Ajax system wirelessly, so you keep the hardware and gain the app.

One small module, many devices

Connect any detector with a normally closed (NC) or normally open (NO) contact. That includes outdoor motion sensors, IR beams, electric fence energisers, gas or water-leak sensors, and panic buttons. Choose the alarm type in the Ajax app, and the system treats the detector as a full Ajax device.

Secure, long-range radio

Transmitter talks to the hub through encrypted Jeweller radio, up to 1,600 m in open space. Frequency hopping and per-session authentication protect it against interference and fake modules. If communication is lost, the system detects it within about 36 seconds.

Built to last

Three pre-installed CR123A batteries run the module for up to 5 years. Tamper protection and a built-in accelerometer alert you if anyone opens or moves it.

Easy to install

The module is small enough to sit inside most detector cases. If the case is metal or too small, you can use a radio-transparent enclosure. Add it to the system by scanning its QR code.

Good to know: each Transmitter supports one wired device. For several devices on one module, see the MultiTransmitter. Outdoor detectors may need a sealed, radio-transparent enclosure.
